about me

Katie Kleiger is an actor, writer, and musician living in New York City.

Originally from the Washington, DC area, Katie is a graduate from Interlochen Arts Academy and received her B.F.A in Acting from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie B.F.A. Actor Training Program.

As an actor, she has appeared Off-Broadway in Sleep No More (McKittrick Hotel) and Ring Twice for Miranda (New York City Center), and in theatres across the country, including Arena Stage, Studio Theatre, Guthrie Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and many more. She is a resident company member at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, where she regularly performs.

As a writer, her play Different Words for Happiness has been workshopped in NYC and Baltimore, and she is preparing for its world premiere in 2026. Other plays include Heirlooms and Singularity, and her TYA adaptations of Among the Hidden and Stargirl have both received productions at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC.

As a musician, Katie enjoys playing music in her bedroom and sometimes outside of it too, depending on the year.
